Being in an Athletic Position allows your body to be reactionary to movement in any direction, at the same time stay centered, balanced, and square to the target line. It’s such an important factor in the full swing but many golfers don’t translate this into the putting stroke. It’s vital to not only striking a “straight putt” but as you’ll learn it’s an essential fundamental for distance control.

The feet, knees, hips, shoulders, forearms, and eyes are all square to the target line. These things make it simple to consistently start the ball on-line every time. This is Vital to good putting—stroking a putt on your desired line.
